Best microstepping motor in the industry The 0.9° series steppers are the most accurate in the industry as they were designed to succeed in applications requiring extremely high accuracy and smooth motion. The accuracy of Lin’s 0.9° stepper at 64 times microstepping is 1.5 arc minutes while the industry average is +/- 4.0 arc minutes. What does that mean? Each step that the motor takes is 0.9° divided by 64, or, 0.014°. With every step that’s taken, the maximum error from a Lin motor will be a mere 0.025°. At Lin Engineering, exhaustive efforts are taken to ensure that the products received from China, as well as other overseas countries, is of the utmost quality. Investment: Lin Engineering have invested an immense amount of resources to help ensure that the products received from overseas are high in quality. Linex, a manufacturing facility, serves to accommodate the needs of many high volume customers. Over the years Linex has grown and consistently produced high quality motors. Education: Rather than accepting lower standards than those that implemented in their U.S. facility, Lin Engineering's approach has been to educate their partners overseas and demonstrate the necessity and importance of consistent quality, Statistical Process Control, and other key measurements of quality.
