February, 2008 - MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - Switches Plus is proud to introduce MIWA Electric's range of advanced Target-Type Fault Indicators. As an integrated relay and indicator in a single compact unit, MIWA's EIT-B Series Target-Type Fault Indicators gather and monitor circuit information while cleverly reducing the cost of wiring and installation.

Each MIWA indicator incorporates a number of fault indicating elements (targets) in a single casing. For faults in power plants or sub-stations with complicated circuits, the EIT-B Series generates alarms as well as indicating the type of fault by closing the associated circuit. Additionally, MIWA's range of Target-Type Fault Indicators offer the following features:

1. Indicator units monitor faults in complicated circuits and provides multiple alarm output contacts
2. Up to 4 output contacts can be connected eliminating auxiliary relay circuits
3. Module types are independently available to element types reducing area requirements of distribution enclosures
4. All indicating elements are of simple plug-in type, completely interchangeable, making circuit modification quick and easy
