The KES-Plate cable entries enable unassembled cables or pneumatic hoses to be quickly inserted into switchgear cabinets or housings without using tools.

The KES entry plates feature a dimensionally stable, elastomer-encapsulated polyamide frame. In order to insert the required number of cables, the surface membrane is first pierced with a screwdriver. Then, the unassembled cables are easily pushed through. Tapered inlet grommets on the back of the plate provide IP66 sealing and reliable strain relief. With up to 32 cables per plate, the KES achieves a significantly higher packaging density than conventional entry systems.

With the cable entry system KES-E many cables (without connector plugs) with different diameters from 1 mm to 16.1 mm can be inserted on a confined space. The cable entry system can be inserted into the provided opening without tools (wall thicknesses of 1.5 mm – 2.5 mm). In order to insert cables the membrane (with marked centring point) must be pierced, now the cables can be easily guided through. The TPE material ensures IP64 tightness.
